任博士有豐富教學經驗,專長於媒體、文化及神學的互動。
任博士現任「香港時代論壇」社長,並於香港中文大學崇基神學院擔任客席助理教授和基督教研究中心研究員。任博士亦是荷蘭University of Groningen 的宗教及文化研究中心的研究院士,專門研究東亞的宗教與媒體
任博士專長研究和教授當代基督教神學、大眾傳媒文化、現代中國和東亞的社會文化發展的互動。
任博士特別有興趣發掘20世紀中葉以來,在社會政治文化的轉變中,香港的大眾傳媒所表達的宗教信仰元素。
